Our cause marketing process is a collaboration between a for-profit business and a non profit organisation for a common benefit. Our approach to cause marketing also includes social or charitable campaigns put on by for-profit brands.
Statistics that Support Cause Marketing
According to a survey by the Markstein group -Seventy percent of consumers want to know what the brands they support are doing to address social and environmental issues and 46% pay close attention to a brand’s social responsibility efforts when they buy a product, according to the survey. In addition, a survey from a Cone CSR report states that 89% of consumers would to switch to brand that is actively associated with a good cause.
According to a survey commissioned by Channel 4… 57% believe brands should use advertising to raise awareness of social and ethical issues. Young people are receptive to ads with a social cause message. In the survey 60% of 16- to 24-year-olds claim to notice ads more if they deal with important issues. This is compared to 55% of 35- to 44-year-olds and 37% of those aged 45 and older.
Public opinion differs when it comes to brands supporting a good cause. Often seen as a form of sport washing and in some case often seen as a PR stunt with little to no long term impact. It is our goal to ensure the impact of the collaboration and outcomes are a win win for all stakeholders with resonant campaigns that cut through.
